Administrative Services Officer - ACR Archives


 

The Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder's (ACR) Office is seeking an Administrative Services Officer for their County Recorder, Records Management/Archives section.

At this time, the position offers the opportunity to telework part-time, but is subject to business needs and is not guaranteed. Telework may change at any time and you will be expected to report to the office on a full-time basis.

The Administrative Services Officer will oversee staff in its day-to-day functions of preserving archives. In doing so, they will plan, develop, and implement archives and records management program goals, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will also develop and revise procedures; support program compliance; review, evaluate, and recommend improvements in organization, assignment of work, and operating procedures.

The ACR Office has a desire for candidates that are familiar with archive procedures and practices.

Assessor - County Clerk - Recorder (ACR), The ACR has a staff of over 375 employees located in offices throughout Riverside County. The Assessor is responsible for locating, identifying and valuing all taxable property in Riverside County. The Recorder is responsible for providing the public with constructive notice of private acts and creating and maintaining custody of permanent records for all documents filed and recorded in Riverside County. The County Clerk services range from issuing marriage licenses and performing marriage ceremonies to accepting filings of Fictitious Business Name Statements. The Records Management Archives Program (RMAP) unit provides professional records management services and the Archives Program provides public access to the history of Riverside County.
