As a Medical Biller, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Case Manager and the Scheduling Manager, as well as the Clinical Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for most billing functions for our three locations, including services of 11 providers, interfacing with insurance companies and credentialing.
- Maintain and update patient records according to federal and state guidelines to ensure compliance with insurance companies and consumers.
- Assist in correlating patient accounts with facility records to ensure all accounts are paid in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
